If you are a non national and are planning a destination wedding the following applies:

• Both parties must be in Trinidad and Tobago at least 3 days prior to the date of the intended marriage. The day of arrival is not counted in the 3 day period
• Proof of Identification:
• Valid Passport
• Arrival and Departure ticket
• Documentation if you have been widowed or divorced
• If under the age of 18 written consent of parent or guardian in English

If you are a national you must visit the warden's office in your district to post your banns at least 8 days before your wedding date.
